Diseases in Cattles: Like other animals, cattles also suffer from a number of diseases, which besides causing death, also reduce milk production. The parasites of cattle can be of following types:
Symptoms of diseases: Normally becomes inactive and stops eating. Its yield is reduced. It may have red eyes and running nose. It may pass coloured urine and loose dung.
Prevention of diseases: Cattles also get infectious diseases by infection from various bacteria and viruses, e.g. foot and mouth disease, cowpox and rinderpest (viral diseases), anthrax, haemorrhagic septicemia, black quarter (bacterial diseases), etc.
